CP Family Health Welcomes New Psychiatrist and Counselor

Dr. KingDr. John King, M.D. and Florence “Ricki” Duffy, L-MSW, recently joined CP Family Health Care Center of Malone to provide behavioral health services. Dr. King joined CP Family Health Care Center from the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine where he is a Clinical Assistant Professor.  Ricki Duffy joined CPNC with years of experience as a therapist, drug and alcohol counselor, site supervisor and domestic violence consultant. 

 

Dr. King provides adult psychiatry and medication management twice a week at the health center.  Ricki Duffy provides counseling for adults and is available for appointments Monday thru Friday.

 

Ricki DuffeeCP Family Health Care Center, operated by Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country, provides primary care and behavioral health services in Franklin County. CP Family Health Care Centers in St. Lawrence County and Franklin County were designated Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in September 2007.  They offer a sliding fee scale to help improve access to primary care to North Country residents who are underinsured and uninsured.  Patients can apply for discounts based on income and family size if they are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.  In Malone, the sliding fee scale is currently available for primary care only.  The community health center is open to the public.
