Polar Bear Golf 2010
The 11th Annual Polar Bear Golf Classic was held under sunny skies on February 11, 2010. The 9 hole, par 3 golf extravaganza was held at the St. Lawrence University Golf and Country Club, St. Lawrence University Indoor Golf and Training Center, and Best Western University Inn in Canton, NY. This cabin fever buster delivered winter fun for the 23 teams that braved the weather to play, and over 100 guests that attended the banquet that evening. Participants enjoyed games, prizes, food, and back massages by Lisa Guccione, PTA. There were also chain saw carving demonstrations by Terry McKendree, a well known local chain saw artist. All proceeds from Polar Bear Golf 2010 benefit Cerebral Palsy of the North Country and programs like the Outdoor Recreation Program. Attendees reported having a fantastic time, with perfect polar bear golfing weather for a great cause- helping individuals with disabilities. See you in 2011!
