Community Health Center Welcomes Optometrist

Daniel Litwicki, M.D., Ophthalmologist, recently joined Community Health Center of the North Country in Canton and Malone to provide comprehensive optometry services. Dr. Litwicki graduated with a Bachelor's degree from University of Missouri-Columbia and was awarded a medical degree after attending Vanderbilt University Medical School.

"It is important to offer these services locally, otherwise patients with Medicaid would need to travel out of the area," says Doris Chenier. There is a lack of area providers that accept Medicaid for both exams and prescription filling.
