Home Service Director, Jim Williams, Receives Honorable Award

At this year's Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State's Annual Conference, Jim Williams was awarded the Robert Schonhorn Staff Member of the Year Award. This award is given to a staff member from a Cerbral Palsy Associations of New York State Affiliate who has made significant contributions to people with disabilities that have resulted in their increased independence, productivity or integration.

Along with being a Home Service Director, Jim Williams is also an educator in the Kids on the Block Program, where puppets are used to educate young people about individuals with disabilities, and the Creator/Coordinator of the Outdoor Recreation Program, which provides opportunities for individuals of all abilities to enjoy outdoor activities like horseback riding, cross-country skiing, hiking, camping, canoeing and more.
