Will I be able to select the Dentist or Clinician that I see for my appointment?

All of our staff members are highly qualified and experienced.  We try to accomodate requests for a specific clinician.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

While it is best to call in advance, we may be able to accomodate same day or next day appointments.

How long will it take for my glasses to arrive?

It takes about 2 weeks for glasses to come in.  We call patients when their glasses arrive.

Do you accept Medicaid or just private insurance?

We accept Medicaid and Medicare.  We also accept Child and Family Health Plus and private insurance.  However, we can only dispense glasses to Medicaid patients. 

Do you only provide programs and services to individuals with Cerebral Palsy?

No.  We provide Family Services and Community Living Services and Opportunities to individuals with a broad range of diagnosis; including CP and other disabilities with similar service needs.  For information on eligibility, contact Shelli Prespare Weston at

Sliding Fee Scale in St. Lawrence & Franklin Counties

  

Effective September 1, 2007, Community Health Centers of the North Country in St. Lawrence and Franklin Counties were designated Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). The designation accompanied $600K of Federal Grant monies which will allow the two clinics to reach out to the uninsured and underinsured residents

Do you provide health care to people who do not have a disability?

Yes, many of our family health care services are open to all members of the community. More information is on our services page.

At CP of the North Country, our services are divided up into three categories- CP Family Health Care Services, Family Services, and Community Living Services and Opportunities. For any health care services (ex. Dental, Primary Care), please call the CP Family Care Center serving the county you live in- St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Clinton & Essex, and Franklin to make an appointment.
